I spent the day quilting Autumn Snowballs....

Just one vertical and one horizontal line throughout, crossing in the
middle (mostly ) of the snowballs...

I like the
pink thread on these colors...

                                                            and on these purples.....

Here is the reverse...patched together in pinks and grays...
Along with  Kitties on this side
                                                         a Few little gals...too.....
And as a treat, cupcakes YUM!!
                                                             After  a bicycle ride...

Next will be trimming and  making the binding.....

  1. I always use my walking foot, too. Simple quilting for me. I made hands as a shape for quilting on a charity quilt once, too much work, and the recipient, (a child) would not care.
    Your quilt turned out great!

  2. Looks good! Congratulations on getting it done.

  3. Wow! That went fast. Great job and I love the scrappy backing you made.

  4. Always a huge sigh of relief when we finish the quilting on the big ones, always saying not going to make them this big anymore, and then ... The pink thread was a great choice!

  5. Phew is right - really beautiful - never even gave thread a thought!

  6. Congrats on getting it quilted! Even simple quilting is lovely and adds so much to a quilt, and this one is certainly lovely!

  7. Yay! It looks great. Sometimes a simple grid is the best choice.

  8. Well done, that didn't take you very long at all! Just the binding do do now, then it's all done.

  9. Lovely, Julierose. Simple quilting is the best.

  10. What a beautiful finish! Your quilting is perfect. Love it!

  11. Pretty quilt! I love the backing, such cute fabrics, playing well all together!

  12. Your snowball quilt is looking wonderful, Julierose! I love your sashing - so perfect for the snowball colors. I only quilt with my walking foot, too, and a grid like you're doing is my favorite way to quilt.

  13. It's a beautiful finish, Julierose! I love everything about it.
