My transplanted peony has
finally deigned to bloom for me;)))
It came from our old house and
has stubbornly refused to bloom
in its new spot...
When it opens completely, the
center is a light raspberry color.
And
Here is my old transplanted (2 times!)
Rhodie:
Apparently it finally likes that corner of our
house....;))) See how dry our lawn is!!
Here is a closer look at its lovely
blooms
I just love that pinky-lavender color
it sports....
And
from my front of the rock
garden spot
My Japanese Iris has come out, too--
plus some buds awaiting the
rain, I think...it has been
super dry here...
They look like crepe paper in this
stage--so lovely...all those
delicate shades of purple...
And
By the side of our garage and
front of our tv room we have a
couple Bearded Iris left
(after the disruption of a
propane generator installation)
They ended up unknowingly digging
up most of my irises ;000
As the blossoms fade away,
they look like
thin papers...
I hope you enjoyed that little stroll about
my limited garden areas this year.

I have been watching "Susan Hiles Art"
on Youtube and she is also letting us
follow her progress on container gardening...
It inspired me to buy some sunflower seeds
and some "Silver Coins" seeds and
"Cherry rose" sunflower seeds...
We shall see how they do..')))
