WAITING ROOM WORK

The beginning of my Christmas hexagon project....I received many inquiries
as to what this was, what it would be etc....so a good conversational
opener, too.

This is how my driveway looked on Thursday  morning when we took off:

All icey -----along with a snow-laden landscape....

My little blue spruce encased...

Bare branched roses

And
Snow-ey dried plants...

Here is my latest setting of my string blocks with a red center as opposed to the yellow center...which do you like better?

and

(I only had two done at this point...but you get the idea...)

I like the red center--not so "in your face"

And I may also do green with the golds...as an alternating block...

We are home and the patient is really coming along well....
Making soup for dinner on this frigid Saturday....

Hugs and thanks to all of you for your prayers and good wishes,
Julierose, La Blageuse (glad it's over-euse)
