Here is my next "Little" to be hand quilted...
I began this years ago...I cannot even recall
exactly how long!!😦😟
I used cut-offs and scraps leftover...
seamlines to begin with...
Using Perle 8 white cotton...
That central portion consists of many of my
favorite scraps sewn in "Chinese Coin" fashion...
And the reverse is a leftover piece of
one of my all-time favorite Japanese
fabrics...i love the facial
expression on these Geisha Girls...
I am only taking one stitch
at a time and turning
my usual quilting (2-3 stitches on needle)
into a "slow stitch quilting" process...
Tom and I, through the years, have been
lucky enough to have been invited to go
sailing with two of our sailboat owner friends.
This piece, by way of that, is a little
memory of those
younger, enjoyable days on
the ocean with them....
*****************************
This weekend is the "Monza" Grand Prix
Formula One (F1) race--so I
will be able to do some stitching
on this while watching their
coverage...
Hugs from still humid
and gloomy
CT today,
Julierose, La Blageuse,
(hand-quilting-euse)
