I began working on this, my first Medallion quilt,
in 2023 with Audrey for her SAL Medallion
type quilt process....Her instructions
for each section were so clear and
really spurred our online group all on...
Mine went through so many iterations and
growing pains: "I hate it!!",
"I can't do Medallions with all those borders!",
"My stash colors are ALL WRONG!"
"Everyone else's looks so much better
than mine does!!"....
etc, etc, etc...
B U T.....
Now I am so happy that I stuck with it
through thick and thin...
My good friend, Lizzy
was my most ardent cheerleader and
kept telling me it was worth pursuing...

who cheered me onward with
your encouraging comments...

favorite older floral fabrics from my
stash...
Lots of hand quilting for texture
really shows up here....;)))
Are any of you still working on long-lost projects
out there--well, keep at them, sometimes
the result can surprise you with just
how much you like it;))))
I need to add hanging straps as this
will be a wall piece--
