GG'S MINIS

Here are the bases
of the two Butterfly
mini quilts...
Willa's (L)
is into "blue"
and
Fiona's (R)
is into "Purple".

You will notice (I am sure) that there
are a couple little "baby" geese...
flying behind the adults....;)))
😂🙆🙆

My embroidered butterflies
were just shy of 8.5" and
so I had to improvise...

I am hoping that the
white fabric surrounding each
butterfly will "quilt out" from
being pulled up with
my stitching...
Or
perhaps that's just the wind
helping them  soar...
;)))
*********************************
I want to make these dolly
quilts rectangular..
So I will be searching for some
appropriate fabrics to
make a narrow "stop" border on the sides,
and deeper top and bottom
borders...

Right now they measure 15.5" ;
not quite big enough to cover
an American Girl doll..
Plus I prefer rectangular
quilts.

That is what I accomplished
yesterday and today...

Hugs to all on this dark,
rain-filled and
gloomy day...

BUTTERFLY MINIS

I've been sewing blue
Snow Geese
to go with the blue butterfly
for Willa's
American Dolly quilt.
(I just need to sew it all together...)

This will be part
of her Christmas present...
I finished the geese strips
this morning...

AND
I have Fiona's
Purple Butterfly and
Snow Geese
Christmas Dolly quilt
all ready to be sewn tomorrow.
↧↧↧↧
I think this is a good use of my
Butterfly embroideries...

The Butterfly blocks were an almost
perfect 8.5" square;
I used the same pattern format
that was in my Starry-eyed Jack
to feature the embroideries...

I hope they will like them...;)))
