NEUTRAL ZONE

WELCOME:                       Come into my sewing room...........................;}}}

Here are the latest neutral strippy blocks....

I just love how the grays and browns alternate  ....(the lower line of blocks are the latest additions
making the gray diamond shapes)..

Here are the other ones:

There are a few pops of oranges, and turquoises in here as my stash of neutrals is very small...so I am
stripping off sections from multi-colored fabrics to fill in...

{After two days of migraines that put me to bed (ugh!!) I am finally able to sew
 and craft once again}

AND now for my NEW daily "magazine" journal..........
for those of you interested in my other obsession...;~*)))...

  I tore out extra pages (so the binding
wouldn't break) and then prepared this
Sunset magazine for everyday junk-
arty-journaling about our daily lives...

My First spread....

                 Here's a little peek...sorry for the glare...into last Friday, Saturday and Sunday

[I am "harvesting" images from old magazines to illustrate daily events....]

I am thinking though that I will switch to a weekly two-page spread--for after all, our lives are
not chock-a-block with busyness like when we were bringing up our family and working...

I am finding this a nice alternative to just written journaling ...altho', i am
of course, continuing to keep my daily journal in my Franklin...and my Weeks.

Here are the Youtubers that I follow to learn about this:
Heidi Hornsbury, Dede Willingham, and Craftyhodges ...
(there are many others, but these are the ones I follow.)

I am happy to have found a new way to use-up my old scrapbooking ephemera,
washi tape, and stickers....which have been inundating my craft space....

Hugs, Julierose, La blageuse  (crafting-euse)
