HALLOWEEN COLORS

Since my Halloween canvases have not yet arrived, I am working on this canvas
which features Halloween colors...above is the bottom left section I've just finished.

And here is the total picture--not Halloween-ey, except for colors: (but pretty!!)
I call it "Journey of the Mind"

And,
here is the right lower section in progress--some of  you have have shown an interest in diamond painting; so you can see a "work in progress" below............
{I only uncover the small area I am working on...}

You can see the charted canvas and the drills (little square beads) I have applied as well as the empty spaces yet to be filled...each symbol stands for a color....

And here is my little tray to hold and sort beads:
Can you get an idea of how tiny they are?  I use my sticky pen and this tray....
(both of which are provided with the kit)  to pick them up and apply them to the piece pouring them out a little at a time from these containers below....

Here are the drills sorted by color and chart number...needless to say I have purchased a
whole lot of these containers.. (gulp!)
.
[the colors used (mostly, but some aren't ;((( ) are the same as the DMC colors for embroidery thread...so when I am finished I can store the leftovers in little baggies
in case I ever need them in the future... ]

I don't have ANY quilted Halloween pieces, so I thought  this picture could put me in the
Halloween spooky mood...(not my favorite holiday though).Boooooooo..

***********************************************************************************
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend...despite the rain lashing that is expected....

I am hoping to sew the final two borders on OJOS..(I know , I thought I said no
more BIG QUILTS!!....sigh.. somehow, it "grew like topsy".) --

We have company coming on Sunday; so, Ojos has to be off the dining table by noon....
*************************************************************
I haven't done a lot of sewing this week as I am fighting off a stubborn migraine...today
I just have a few "shreds" left, but light still bothers my eyes....👀

Hugs, Julierose La Blageuse, ("gettin' in the mood-euse.".)
