CHRISTMAS OJOS FINISHED, et al

I finished "Christmas Ojos:
this afternoon...
{as usual click to enlarge any photos}
💚💖💝
Here is a closer look at the binding I chose...

and
how the pink quilting looks on
the reverse tone on tone green:

As you can see, I did the 2.5" strip binding all on
my machine--ending with a zig-zag on the
front side

I love all those little special items contained in this piece;
a good Christmas memory quilt...

Full of "bits and bobs" of leftover
favorite fabrics...

Here it is on my dining table--most likely
it will be featured lying over my deep maroon
cloth which should set it off nicely
 for my Christmas dinner...

Here is my Autumn Bounty topper with an old,
favorite bright yellow teapot
on my table for the coming
of Fall 🍂🍁🍃

I really love that center pear fabric...
💛💛💛

I have also hung my Autumn Stars on
the dining room wall..
[I need to make little hangers for it, right now
its just tucked over the bar !! ]

I will finish putting out more Autumnal pieces
tomorrow...to welcome
Fall into
our
home...

AUTUMN BOUNTY , et al

Autumn Bounty
string blocks...
pinned up on my wall.

I am still working with leftover
strips and orts in my
orange, green and brown
scrap bags...
They don't seem to get smaller!!!
😳😳😳

This pear fabric was the
springboard for these blocks...
This will be my September hand
quilting project as soon
as I can get the
blocks together and layered..

Such a pretty fabric
↡↡↡↡↡
I love its soft
painterly texture....
')))

************************
FYI: I am still going
through PT sessions...
hanging in there--but am still
having painful bouts...
Yesterday's session left me
unable to walk without pain
👾
Soooo,
This morning, Tom drove me to
the Clinic for my annual
blood tests..
ugh...
[I hate not being independent !!]
I am very fortunate that he
is such a sweetheart;)))
💕💕💕
***********************
I put Falling Leaves on the shelf
for the time being as I really
am limited to how much I can
actually sit and sew...
those long rows are a bit
much to handle right now...
****************************
So, what do you do when you are
sidelined like this???
💁👵
Hmmmm...

Perhaps do a little bit of
fabric enhancement?

I hope to be able to hand quilt this
lovely fabric in the near future...
I am pondering threads
while I sit and sip my morning
coffee....
The colors I am leaning toward all
seem to be in the Autumnal mode...
*****************************
I hope you are staying safe,
avoiding close contact, and
wearing your masks inside--
the variant is out there....
