PICOTEE FINISHES, et al

The last bloom on Picotee is fading fast...
It has certainly given us a lot of
lovely flowers....
Now to let it rest and hopefully Summer
it over for its next seasonal flowering,,,,

In contrast my red waxed amaryllis
has made very S L O W
progress...
Seeing some fresh green shoots
makes me hopeful that it
will eventually bloom.

After my experience with
my Picotee "Ghost" bulb,
I am being patient with
this one...
Fingers crossed...

I have been setting up my 2nd Pita
Cracker Box Junk Journal to be
ready for when I need it...
↓↓↓↓
Here it is in its "bare-bones" state;
I only made four signatures this time as
my present one with 5 is really a
 "chunky monkey" ;)))
making it hard to write in..
[for non journal makers--"signatures"
are groups of pages bound in
separately...] You can
see the four packets of
papers in the above photo...
bound into the spine with
strong waxed thread...

On this one I distressed the
pages with Distress Oxide and
water:
I really love this grunged-up look to the pages...
It should be a lot of fun working in this one...

Tomorrow, our children and grands
will be coming to visit
for the Easter Sunday
afternoon...
I hope that you all are having a
wonderful Holiday weekend...
