FABRIC JOURNAL FOR OCTOBER, et al

October prompts are:
"Gingerbread House"
and
"Winter Cabin",

Above is my base
for my
Gingerbread House
pinned in place.

I have yet to figure out
the fancy decorations.

I am not working very quickly
as I am still recuperating
from my Covid booster
and flu shots... they really
hit me hard...

But I am coming around
and able now to eat a bit...

**********************
I have just one Rose bush left that
made the trek here from
our former home:

I need to tie it up on our
new fence...

poor straggling thing.
 ;(((

I t did give a beautiful
pink display this Summer
despite our drought conditions...

Here are some little rose hips
↓↓↓↓
I think they are so cute...
I don't know if I could cut them to
use in a vase inside?
I don't want to damage the
plant though...
does anyone know???

Then, here is one of our Nellie Stevens
hollies very full of berries this year:
I just love hollies...and this variety
doesn't attract deer--
Thankfully.
:))))

I hope you are having a really
good weekend my friends.
💚
