wall hanging

yesterday,,,,

Now for binding...

Big Stitched along the borders...

And here is my first week of my 
Calendar of Life (COL)

Intuitive Embroidery..

The Full Corn Moon was on Aug 28th--

hence the golden circle whipped with

sparkley gold thread 

(can you see??);

This week our last Rose of Summer

dropped its petals 

and

inspired this block....

Our rose is left looking bereft

as it clings to our fence...

[taken through our backroom window..]

And today, 

I decided to incorporate some

of my cherished Sari Silk ribbon

leftovers by sprinkling them 

throughout this COL project...

Here is the first little offcut

piece...

I Kantha echo stitched all around after

invisibly basting the ribbon down...

I was able to get those tiny stitches

by using

my newly acquired 

tulip embroidery needles...

I am not affiliated in any way with this company;

but I have to say

 I L💜VE love love this needle--

and

would recommend it for 

working in small areas...

{FYI: that is my sewing pillow 

peeking out behind

the needle box}

On my way out to the deck to

 drink my first cup of coffee
