This small bundle of
"Tilda" fabrics
started me off....
they are really so lovely....
A while ago I made this batting book
using Anne Brooke's method
(which you can find on
her YouTube channel)
↧↧↧↧
whip stitched together along the bindings
made this little booklet for
slow stitching...
Working in a book format
already sewn together turns
out to be quite different...
Here is the "Tilda" spread I am
working on ...
I have tacked all the fabrics down and begun
to kantha stitch on the right hand page...
the most difficulty I have encountered is
sewing right up to the binding...
On this spread, I went right across that binding
and found it much easier to manage...
This is the first spread where I used my
tea-dyed fabric for the background and
bits and scraps and some stitching.
I plan on using more of it throughout
this little slow stitchery book..
I can go back and add more anytime if
I wish..
or
Get an idea flash;)))
This pick-me-up-put-me-down
[PMU-PMD] project fills
in the times when I feel like
doing some stitching but have
no definite project in mind...
or any UFO's I want to work on!!!👿

I hope you are all ready for our
Thanksgiving Holiday here
in the USA...
We will be traveling to my daughter's home
to meet up with our whole little family.
