WEARIN O' THE GREEN, et al

 
Happy St. Patrick's Day to you all.

My maternal Grand-pere was
an Irishman, so we always
celebrated and wore green...
What fun...

Latest Memory Quilt block

I will be doing my virtual Irish jig in 
my Cowgirl boots....hahaha

This is my latest block for 
my memory quilt:

My maternal Aunt--"Tante Mildred"-
married an Armenian Sailor
after the war, and
moved out to California
to live...that was quite a
surprise to the whole
family.....
 
She and her new husband
[Uncle Ralph] 
came
to visit us 
one summer a few years later;
and they brought me a 
Complete Cowgirl outfit:

👏👏👏💘

A  leather skirt, fringed vest,
lovely light turquoise western
shirt-- with bolo tie and slide,
and a big hat and --
my most favorite 
of all
😊😍
THE BOOTS!!

I was so enchanted...I think
I wore it every day for that whole
summer...What fun:)))
