FINISHED PUZZLING, et al

Here is where I was two days ago..

And....
πŸ‘€✌πŸ‘€
↯↯↯↯↯

Here I am today;)))))

I began on October 3rd....
So 5 days to the finish;))))

Now I hate to take it apart so
I will let it sit in all its glory
for a few days...

To make my life easier I have ordered
some sorting trays for my next puzzle...

************************
Early this morning, DH and I did
our monthly BJ's shopping run....
then...
we came home and had our 2nd cup
of coffee while watching the FI
"Warm Up" for the upcoming
Singapore Grand Prix race
this Sunday..

*************************
I think I can say that my hand is getting
better, but still wearing my support
brace and resting through this
upcoming weekend.

***************************
I just got the latest
Anne Cleeves book in the
Jimmy Perez and Willow
new series...
"The Killing Stones".
So I will have that to look forward
to reading...
*********************************
I will admit that I am getting pret-ty(!)
antsy without any stitching to occupy
my hands...πŸ‘ΏπŸ‘ΊπŸ‘Ή
I have decided to finish all my "Littles"
with machine quilting...
Hoping to be able to begin that journey
this coming week...

  3. Wow, you put that puzzle together quickly, Julierose! It's a neat one. I do hope your hand is getting better so that you can stitch again soon. Machine quilting is definitely a good way to finish up those small pieces, though.

  4. I am happy that your hand is healing. I bought myself a puzzle this week. First one in a long time. I also enjoy Ann Cleeves.

  5. Gorgeous puzzle - maybe you should coat it and frame it? So pretty. Does your machine have a pseudo-quilting stitch (like a long regular stitch but with more space between the ends)? If not, just use a longer regular stitch and go for it. Your hands are worth it.

  6. I think I would have to leave the finished puzzle out to enjoy looking at it too. Sorting trays sound like a good idea if you do lots of puzzles.

  7. Wonderful puzzle. I'm glad your hand is feeling better.
W puzzles, I d love to find a small table, maybe set by windows? so I can ''come and go'' on puzzles this winter. I have three waiting, when done, if ever, I will send them on to you.
Anything fun at BJs? Mums for your deck, a umpkin? Weather has been unusually Fall, hasn't it, enjoy.

PS Let me know what you think of the new Jimmy Perez book.

  8. You certainly put that puzzle together fast! It's a really pretty one. Glad you are giving your hands lots of time to rest before you pick up your stitching again.

  9. You put that puzzle together so quickly! I hope your hand gets better and you can stitch again. I hope the storm doesn't affect you too much this weekend.

  10. Such a pretty puzzle! That looks challenging. Glad the hand is feeling better. I have not watched the Sprint yet (maybe tonight) but will watch the race tomorrow (minus the boy away at college!). We have a BJ's opening down the road in a couple of weeks. I'm used to Sams and Costco.... better than those? I've heard they do a little smaller packaging.
