I am using up my charm packs:↴↴↴↴
before
I separated and matched light
to dark charm squares--
all patterned ones....for
a finished scrappy look.
Then: I sewed them 1/4" on either side
AND THEN...
I cut them in half at (2.5")
I consider this
the preparation for the next two steps.
But first,
I need to finish sewing this big stack
I move on...
I plan to make a postage stamp style
piece out of these...
Stay tuned;)))
for my next step.
{Hint: I am not sewing this
one square at a time}

DH cannot eat corn anymore--
which is my usual for this recipe...

Sounds like a great way to use up those leftover charm squares! I have a lot of those, too. Looking forward to seeing what you do with those twosies. And dinner sounds delicious!
ReplyDeleteI've been a fan of Deborah Crombie for years, all the books are good, earlier are best. Do you read Elizabeth George? Her earlier books always reminded me of Crombie, or vice versa. EG's newest installments are pretty good too, just the late-middle ones are tedious w his wife's death etc. imho....

PS I looked up His and Hers, got a free download w Kindle Unlimited to try. It does sound good, but...? I ll let you know. I ve been rereading Ann Cleeves Insp. Ramsey series, written 1990s. Pretty awful, her work certainly has improved, more sophisticated, more complex, darker. [you can delte this comment s it's off topic to your blog.
