I like to make little "salt and pepper" table decorations for everyday.
my bleeding hearts make a perfect bouquet filler for the
leftovers of my birthday flowers .....
*************************************************************
I like (love) how my ferns have taken over this border by my front walk.....and
just filled it to bursting...
************************************************************
I like this idea I saw online ("Polka Dot Chicken" blog) she has the cutest
ideas for displaying her stitcheries...
***************************************************************
My old-timey (lol) kitchen clock that is plenty BIG ENOUGH
for us to read!!;)))
**********************************************************
My wonderful double door fridge---
really love this...so much space.....
*********************************************************
I love watching "Agatha Raisin" on Acorn...
and I like her hairdo, too....
**********************************************************************
And finally...................
Remembering ...................
This picture of my Mom making her First Communion

DESERT DREAMS OJOS
I've begun working on these tiny little string pieces.....
I have moved on to my
smallest squares of papers now
only 3.5".
Along with these leftover triangles
(from a failed Broken Dishes project...)
which make perfect corners for my
Desert Ojos...
I just cannot seem to stop making these string blocks, people!
I keep on telling myself ............
it's time to move onto another project--
and then, BAM! 💫💣👀👀
I sit down at my machine and those little squares
just jump under my needle..
Perhaps this "EYE" has cast its spell over me.
It sits on my shelf overlooking my machine....

[Conjuring up images of Desert Palms,
Oases, Arabian horses,
shimmering sands....]
And so it goes....

FLAGS FOR MEMORIAL DAY....
My large white Iris has bloomed today......
my Grand-mere always referred to Irises as
"Flags"...
This lone purple flag joined the flowering
--see the buds....
HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY TO ALL MY USA FOLLOWERS.....
May we all remember and be thankful for our Veterans' sacrifices....
Hugs, Julierose, La blageuse (grateful-euse)

I LIKE NO. 5
I like how my Diamond Painting of "Roses" is emerging; each new color
addition brings it further to life....I put on my Pandora and just dot, dot, dot
the drills square by square and it really relaxes me.......
(Whereas, yesterday I sewed a border on backwards!! Taking a bit of a
respite from machine sewing this week------ ;000 S I G H !!)
*******************************************
I like how my Bunny Tin, thanks Dawn;))), is still filling up with my
string blocks...
I think I can eke out a few more pink ones and yellows with
my string orts.....just two a day and they are mounting up.....
**************************************
I (think...) I like my wonky Maverick Stars
using up the blue 2.5" tie-die squares along
with the rest of that countryside fabric....
Here's the next one set up to be sewn together....
I like that window a lot...
and the "cloudy" fabrics on either side...
*********************************************
I just love this Yellow House Landscape which is fused and
then embroidered....
Isn't it exquisite????
Looks windy there....in that dreamscape....
I am reading about the fusing process for embroideries...
******************************************
and, finally,
I Love
my new birthday Boston Red Sox throwback hat---
Linking up with LeeAnna and other "I Likers" this week for our
weekly gratitudes....
Happy Memorial day weekend to all....
hugs, Julierose, La blageuse....(diamond painting-euse)

And Dad used to love making jig saw puzzles;
he made this one below of a little
girl practicing piano....
and then glued it together and framed her.....he said it reminded him of
me when I was little...
*********************************************************
And.....
My son and his baby girl at the beach for her first visit there...
you have to love that chapeau....;))))
*************************************************
And, I love taking out my Spring table topper--altho' Spring is Waaay
behind this year....
("...Spring is here, why doesn't my heart go dancing...)
My Grand-mere's cake plate is full of seaglass that Mom and i collected
on our shore walks through the years....
*******************************
and this one of my daughter (l) and DIL (r) at our celebration of Thom's
80th birthday....

I LIKE NO. 3
NEFERTITI
A diamond painting present from my husband.....this one has some
special sparkley diamond drills in it....I love the colors--so rich...
**************************
This cute mosaic little Christmas tree...
The only mosaic I've worked on previously, was the Valentine's
heart mug rug for hubster...I'd like
to give this one a go.....
************************************
I do like to wander the beach collecting shells; soon it will be warm
enough to add to my collection...this old pie plate belonged to my
Grand-mere--isn't it just lovely?
Situated here on her old marble-topped chest in my front hall with a few
dried roses from a Mother's Day bouquet.....
and a little shell box that my
daughter gave me...I usually fill it with special chocolates for these two:
Fi and Willa....I always
find a new hiding place for it and they go searching 1st thing when they
stop for a visit....what fun ;)))))
******************************************* And speaking of little ones............
I love our two new hollies on either side of our garage door entrance...and want
to plant some daffodils around them this Fall to ward off marauding deer....;000
***********************************************
Stash diving brought this oldie to light:↓
I found this old square that I made eons ago--I don't even know HOW I made it....it looks
like some kind of inset work, but.......................................
it had gotten hidden away in a WIP box;
don't you love unearthing things like this?
I recall buying just 1/4 yd of each of these fabrics--that was when we had a fabric
store close to hand...really miss that store...
I am linking with LeeAnna this morning and being grateful for another beautiful
day.....
Wonderful morning view....
Hugs, Julierose, La Blageuse (grateful-euse for all my blessings)
(or as Mom would say: "Better to be looking down on the grass instead of
looking up at it!" So typical...lol)
