GATHERING, et al

Hello blogging friends, I am finally
starting to feel better...phew this
has been a trip I wouldn't want
to repeat or wish on anyone...
I am working on "gathering" my
strength back...

At least now....
I am able to eat a bit more and
I am not falling asleep every other
minute!!

******************************
As you can see above we are having an
unexpected  light Summer
shower;
so good for our three patio tomato
plants on our back deck,....
With the projected heat wave
here through next Wednesday,
we can use all the rain we can get...
**********************
Here is where I left off on my Christmas
Ojos quilting...
the central "greenish" blocks are all
quilted and I hope to be working on the
red surrounding ones next....

[Sorry for the dark pix--very overcast
here this morning]

Taking things slow and easy...
Hugs, Julierose

  3. That's great news, I was so happy to see you had posted this morning. Your tomatoes look so lush and productive, get ready t freeze or preserve the coming harvest.

Your patio table and chairs are lovely.

Books: I enjoy Jane Harper, she doesn't publish a lot of books but good reads.

    Take it slow,
    love

  5. I'm pleased to see you back, Julierose. Slowly but surely you will get your strength back, and start to feel normal again. Do take care, and dont overdo things.

  6. Good to hear from you and that you are on the mend. Regaining your strength takes time. The heat wave will force you to slow down and rest. Christmas Ojos looks great.

  10. I'm sorry to hear that you've been so poorly - and I really hope that you continue with your recovery! Don't rush to over do things, though, so you can avoid a relapse! Looks like you are pitching things well at the moment - and I love how both your tomatoes and your quilt are looking! xx

  11. Yay! It is great to see a post from you, Julierose. I'm glad you are feeling better and working around to a slow re-start. The tomatoes are looking good. I remember when Tom was putting the planter together. I love it!! Your quilt is putting me in the mood to start a string quilt. It is so pretty in those colors.

  12. I am so glad you are starting to build back your strength and are feeling better, Julierose. It sounds like it took the starch out of you for sure. Your veggies are looking fabulous; I just love your raised beds and the framing you are using to keep your tomatoes in check. Your Christmas Ojo is looking amazing. This is a quilt I would want to keep out year round. Have a wonderful day and you take care. Warm Hugs.

  13. It’s so good to have you back, Julierose! I hope you’re back to 100% soon. I love your Christmas ojos and am planning to do the same with my Christmas fabrics. But may or may not be this year. Take it easy, Dear One!
