Here are my leftover 1.5" squares
sewn into strip of 5.
I will be putting them together into
blocks of 25
First "5 x 5"--
No rhyme or reason, just pulling
squares and sewing them in twos,
fours and then adding the final 5th...
Just a fun-filled scrappy block...
I wish I had more novelty prints,
but just using up what I have.
(Hey, Dawnie, don't you love these??)

2nd "5x5"
It is hard not to get
too "matchey-matchey"
;0000
and here is block No 3:
The temptation is to put all the
low volume fabrics in one
block and all the darks in another!!
There will be repeats as these squares
were cut from leftover chunky bits..
I love seeing how different the strips
look when blocked together.

Here is my 2nd
[sew-jo seeking]
project I am
having fun with:
A Free form
Pineapple--type block.
All from scrappy strips
and triangle
leftovers...
I call this one
"Pineapple Express"
in memory of our
Caribbean Cruise...
The two above are really my trial runs...
Using "Caribbean looking" fabrics
.
[I am remembering
a local watering hole called
"Meester Frog" --
πππππΈπΈπΈ
I must allow myself to get a
little piece of Froggy fabric...
don't you think???]

It's a lovely day here today--
sun shining--maybe even warm
enough to sit out in the sun on our
front patio and get some fresh air...
