My Snowflowers have been languishing for such a long time in that closet of shame....;(((

Mainly because i didn't know what to do with those edges; I have basted them to the white-on-white background and plan to stitch them down.

but then, what to do with those big white corners??Hmmmm maybe a hexie swag? Or some Broderie Perse?

Here are a few of those flowers:

there is that lovely blue iris
fabric which I have a lot of--perhaps a swag or flowers of that all round...

there are a lot of blues in this one....

I am linking up with

So, a new "old" project comes back
maybe this time I can actually finish it....

  1. it will look beautiful with broiderie perse.

  2. Welcome back to Hexagonia! You have some pretty snow-flowers there, I hope you find some inspiration for finishing the piece.

  3. I love your quilt! The iris fabric is lovely! Can't wait to see how you finish it! Have a wonderful day!

  4. I love your snow flowers. Can't wait to see how you finish it. Hugs

  5. J'aime beaucoup tes fleurs JulieRose et je suis certaine que tu vas trouver comment terminer ce quilt !!
    Gros bisous

  6. Lovely quilt!! I vote for a hexie swag to fill some of your WOW border. *OR* since your rosettes seem to be made with what I call 50/50 blocks, you could make a border where the hexagons are in a straight line but are kind of alternating left and right so that they touch each other top and bottom. I can't think of a good way to explain this so I can send a picture if it intrigues you.

  7. Well, it's true. You learn something everyday. I had to go Google Broderie Perse. I had never heard of it before. I'll be interested in seeing how you finish this off. Hexie Love!!

  8. This quilt is so pretty! I'm sure you'll figure out what to do. Broderie perse would be very nice!
