ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of the quilts both of my grandma's used to make. Alas my paternal grandma's quilts were all lost in a house fire, and I don't know what happened to most of the ones my maternal grandma made. I have two but wish I had more.

ReplyDeleteThis is a treasure of a quilt and so wonderful it's still in such good condition. I love the pattern and I especially love that Nile green that we can barely find these days. It just speaks of the 1940s and 1950s. And look at the applique stitches. Lucky you to have it!
