Criss-Cross is a flimsy
[held up by my better half]

And I DO see those pleated
places that happened...
they are going to quilt out--
or I will pleat them as I quilt..
[No un-sewing allowed here!!]

Ojos blocks are sewn...
but not together as yet and
I have yet to remove
papers --
{good tv fare...}
So.....

Crumb Work begins...

I will be just using up the
crumbs and cut-off from the
above two projects ...
I began the first stage
of my crumb work by
sewing little pieces onto
short cut off strips...
It'll be fun seeing how these
turn out--and then
puzzling them together into
something...???
what thing...????
I have no idea;))))
Anything left after this, will
be incorporated in my
handmade journals...
I want these scraps

going out to our
favorite diner for lunch...
I will be having a
hot lobstah roll and
fries--
and Tom says "Anything
with those fries". They
really are the best we've ever had...
and a sometime treat...

The Crisscross quilt is very cool, really effective! In the distance shot the crossings are so visible.

Wish I was as committed to getting rid of my scraps as you are. You are making great progress. I know what you mean about "good" fries. There is a place north of here that we go to for chicken but I've about decided to just get fries and fry sauce next time we go. Yummy.

ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to get rid of those small scraps. Criss-Cross looks great! The Ojos look so nice all together. So nice to get scrap quilts done just using our scraps.
ReplyDeleteYour Criss-Cross blocks look like the strings are woven, over/under/over/etc. I think it's a good arrangement for them.
