centering the white ones...
I STILL seem to have more scraps and
cut-offs left in my two baggies...
It's a Christmas miracle how
they multiply ;)))))

My Raspberry cactus has decided to
give me a couple more blooms after
dropping most of its buds
on its way home...
You can almost see through the petals....
One little piece broke off, so
I've put it in water to develop more
roots and then I will pot it in
soil.....

ReplyDeleteI didn't know your could root Christmas cactus. It makes me want to go to the grocery store and look on the floor in the flower dept. - ha! I used to have one plant and I truly enjoyed it. I liked the way the flowers looked like they were thrusting themselves forward when they bloomed.

ReplyDeleteI have 4 pieces of cacti rooting in water right now. I didn't keep track of which color they are and I think I'll plant them all in one pot.
Pretty projects and flower. I think those scraps are up to something as they do seem to multiply faster than we can sew them. Have a wonderful lead up to Christmas.

ReplyDeleteI love your Christmas projects, so free and fun. And the color of the cactus is amazing. I'm glad it bloomed after all. No C Cactuses today at the store, I got a hyacinth bulb in a jar instaed. Flowers in December are such a joy. btw my marigolds are still blooming.

Pretty Christmas projects, but not in the really traditional colourways.
ReplyDeleteDidn't know how to start new Christmas Cactus plants so good to know. Not that I plan on starting any because I have to manage to keep the current one alive first!
