I finished up quilting the long straight rows
this afternoon on
Flowering Snowball #2....
I really like how "Helga" quilts....
and
all those little squares of scrappy fabrics
really make this quilt...
Here is the really darling backing fabric I
used for this one...

Now I have these two ready to be trimmed up
and bound....

I have begun my 3rd Meditation Scroll
using just scraps on my table....
this one is really long...
and a lot of reds,, greens, and purples...
This should keep me busy during
our tv nights.....

We have had a super humid and
rainy day here...
Temp right now is 75.6 with a
dew point of 75--
expecting more rain as the
barometer is falling off
a cliff...
as you can see here...
this is our new Ambien Weather Station.....
We are both "Weather Junkies"
and love to keep track of what is
happening and to come...

We had a wonderful 4th of July show here
as our neighbors had a big
fireworks display on the night of the 4th...

I love the fabrics in your second Snowball quilt. Cute fussy cut cup and saucer and the frog on the backing fabric is adorable. Hubby has our weather station monitor sitting on his desk. It really is the most accurate way to know what the conditions are at home.

ReplyDeleteMy neighbors with the illegal fireworks must like the loud ones the best, the ones that sound like a bomb going off. I didn't see much "pretty" in their assortment.

I love following the weather too---today was not a beauty, somewhat grey and heavy, 94% humidity. I finally put AC on for Mo. It's actually clearing up now--pompom clouds for evening deck time, yay.

Your gorgeous fabrics really make the snowball quilt shine! I hate this humidity. I think it's sticking around for awhile. Your weather station looks so interesting. I bet it's better than my phone's weather app!
