BIND THY TIME

Autumn Meadows and Joy are all bound.

and
here is a look at the reverse of each
I used leftover binding for Joy and
made the pinkish one for Autumn Meadows...

Three more to go....

**********************
The rain has begun here--so far no
big storms just light sprinkles.
I her that North of us they are
getting heavy thunder and lightning
storms...

***********************

It is a resting afternoon for both of us;
DH had his first PT appointment and
said he didn't hurt that much
BUT
he is taking a nap right now...

And I did our weekly shopping which
always seems to tire me out...
I see a nap in my future, too..

I hope you have a restful
afternoon...

Hugs, Julierose

  2. I tutored this morning and my student lives in an area that got about 8 inches of rain. Her basement got flooded. She's so nervous about these storms today. I hope they're not too bad. Great finishes!

  3. Nothing wrong with the occasional afternoon nap, to make you feel refreshed and raring to go again.

  4. Two done, that's great. Now you will have the momentum to finish the others.

I take an afternoon nap too. 20-30 minutes later I'm refreshed and ready to go again.

  5. Both quilts are beautiful! I love quilts with words, JOY is very special.

I can imagine you're both tired! And it was a quiet restful day for us here in the east coast. Our part anyway. Drops of rain here too, I still had to carry gallons of water out for my flower pots.

I always liked grocery shopping, but like you found it very tiring. I really am glad I learned to order online for delivery instead. My house is raised for hurricanes safety, so after all the shopping I'd have to carry everything up a flight of stairs, Nope! Delivery and Amazon have truly been blessings for me.
I'm reading random Rachel Abbot thriller/ mysteries. Strange but fascinating, I never ''get'' the bad guy right away. Not usually violent or gruesome, just odd. As mentioned also the newest Kate Ellis was a good if not great read.

  7. Yay for putting the finishing touches on a couple of projects! Well done, you.
Ah, the dreaded shopping trips - I have blessed covid for one thing and that's the introduction of curb side pickup for groceries. I HATE grocery shopping so I'm more than delighted to let someone else do that chore on my behalf.
