fluff-i-fied hahaha)

Working on the
"Wash Away the Rain"
lyric page in my Batting Book (BB)
on the facing page.
This is the base "whirlpool" section
representing the emotions and
I will add the rain
on top falling into it...
The background looks washed out here--
there is a lot more blue in the stripes...
light and darker,
and two aquas...
one being variegated...
all in chain stitches...
This is about 1 1/2 weeks of
stitching so far.....and
it is far from being done...
I am enjoying the
necessarily
S L O W
aspect of making this page...

Mo and I are indoors waiting for the groomer. I put the AC on. Sunny here but hot and humid; sadly Mo finds spa day stressful, so I am keeping things as cool and calm as possible.
I so enjoyed looking at your journal and the explanations. It's interesting when a song just resonates. The last time this happened to me was with the song "In the Bleak Midwinter" a couple of Christmas' ago. I like the version with Sissel and the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square the best.

ReplyDeleteFluffy plus- it's terrific! And the stitching- also lovely. I can related because I'm a naturally slow stitcher. But the chain stitch looks so even and consistent- soothing.
