First flowers emerging in my Still Life Diamond Painting.
I thought this would be fun to work on, as we are moving into the Winter Season here and
all our outside flowers have gone by.....
you can see the sparkle on some of the diamonds shinig out...
so sparkle-ey..;)))
It looks like a needletpoint, doesn't it?
This makes me happy as I can no longer ply that
needlepoint needle as I did in this one below....
This was my craft of choice for many years and every other one has been gifted away---
this is the only one I kept...

I love how my diamond painting is coming out so far...
I like the "confetti" (little bits of colors ) that a lot of DP-ers complain about doing...the little changes of color that eventually make a whole entity adds to the
look of the painting, I feel..
I am posting about this as I cannot post about my Secret Santa projects.....they are
too far along...Shhhhhh....
What other crafts do you like to do?

And
we have yet another G R A Y Monday morning...
Both the Hubster and I cannot seem to get used to
this time change this year--
and I feel as if we are living in a totally gray place....
very little sunshine...
and more snow on the way and/or rain...;0000
I am still hungry and tired at the wrong times...We are not coping with the
change this year very well; why can't they just leave it one way or another?
Huh????????
Hugs, Julierose, La Blageuse (smelling the roses-euse)

We are having snow right now, too. I love it. It is gray, but now as grey as at other times. Hubby saw a deer walk down the street last night. That was a first and a big surprise. We live well into the borders of the city of Superior. Maybe he does it every night and we just haven't noticed...
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are great. Do the jewels pop into the backing, or are they glued on? Keep on Keeping ON!
Hugs
Love your diamond paintings.glad you found something that doesnt affect your shoulder. I like to paint, knit, crochet, quilt and have done embroidery and macrame and other crafts. Fun fun
ReplyDeleteNice work on your color change.
ReplyDeleteAnd beautiful needlepoint project.
I like embroidery and I'm thinking of starting a sashiko
project soon.
Pretty diamond painting. I cross stitch when I sit still, embroidery, and sometimes quilt. I hear you about the time change it really has messed a lot of people up this year.
ReplyDeleteIt does look like needlepoint and not painting. Beautiful. The time change always takes me a while to get used to, also. I think they should change it just half an hour once, and then leave it that way, as a compromise for everyone who prefers one way or another and to help everyone so we don't have to adjust ever again unless we travel.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. Your needlepoint is amazing! It's too bad you didn't take any pictures of all the other ones that you gave away. I bet that would be some fun eye candy. I've dabbled in cross stitch and embroidery but found it difficult to keep interested in it long enough to finish anything. I don't have a single one to show either. Anything that I did finish was usually made for someone special.
ReplyDeleteAnother snowy day up here today. I'm so glad I'm off today. I plan on staying indoors. Your diamond painting is gorgeous. It looks fun too! I used to needlepoint years ago. Then I found quilting!
ReplyDeletethose are really beautiful. but my hands would just spill them all over the floor
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful needlepoint piece Julierose, what is the size?
ReplyDeleteSo, you are having grey days going into Winter and although it will officially be Summer here on 1st December we are having grey and wet weather for the past two days and apparently for the remainder of the week.
