DECK QUILTING, et al

Working slowly on hand quilting my little
pineapple table topper...
and
wool gathering out on our deck during
these glorious low humidity days...

:))))))

My son with his doggie, Lucy,
sent me these pix of how he is
taking time to find a relaxing
reading spot:

Out in his canoe
scoping out the best
resting spot for quiet time...
Lucy leading the journey...;)))

Ahhh, at last....
the perfect spot.

"Time out of mind" days.....

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
So, not much going on sewing-wise on Posies
it's just too nice out to be in...

  1. We have to enjoy the perfect low humidity days...there always seem to be too few of them.

  2. Looks like your son is enjoying a perfect day - what could be better, peace and quiet, a four legged friend keeping you company and the sound of water lapping around you.

  5. Looks so lovely, sitting outside on a beautiful summer day with some stitching, Julierose! I always have intentions of doing that, but haven't yet this summer. And a peaceful canoe ride with the dog looks wonderful, too!

  6. Decking stitching sounds glorious, Julierose especially when the humidity is low. It looks like your son and Lucy found the perfect place to relax and enjoy a good book. Have a beautiful day. Hugs

  8. As Lowell wrote, "What is so rare as a day in June? Then, if ever, come perfect days."

  9. Your son has a lovely spot to sit and read in his boat. Glad you have had nice weather to allow time out on the deck. We are back from vacation and I'm trying to catch up on my favorite blogs. Such a hassle that not everyone's is showing up on the reading list.
