Early morning deck quilting...
Pineapple Welcome is coming along.....
Here is a close up of my all time
favorite yellow fabric--these borders are
the very last of this one...
Just such a warm, creamy yellow with the
lovely tossed roses;))))
***************************************
My Flamingo Ojos will be next in line to hand quilt...
I always so enjoy hand quilting these....
****************************
I just backed this little Summertime table
topper and it is ready to be pinned...
***************************
And, finally!!!!-------
I laid my "Lollipops Flowers"on top of Helga
ready to be bound
for tomorrow's machine
sewing stint...
This way I can't ignore or miss it, right????
It's been waiting a mighty long time to be
finished...πππ
I am on a mission this summer
to finish up all the
"Littles" that I have hanging
in my
stash closet...
Wish me luck...;)))
*********************************
Tonight will be an easy bbq supper:
Hot dogs (burnt to a crisp just like
we love to eat them)--with thinly
sliced Vidalia onions, honey mustard,
and sweet pickle relish...
Along with my handmade, oven baked
french fries prepped in EV Olive Oil with
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper...
baked at 425 for about 20 minutes...
nice and crisped...
A very simple, but favorite Summertime meal...
:))))))
I do hope you are enjoying this lovely day
"Carpe Diem" I say...πππ
Hugs, Julierose,

Re-reading "Candle for a Corpse" by Ann Granger...
ReplyDeleteworth a 2nd read to me;))))
I'd say you are well on your way to your summer goal of finishing all your "littles" Julierose. The quilting looks great on Lollipops. I look forward to seeing it bound.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing what you're working on, Julierose - you're going to have some beautiful finishes! Your Ojos are always so pretty. I was making some (one color) string blocks the other day, but I like your multi-color ones better. They do remind me of tropical birds!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to hear that you're enjoying this great weather! Your quilting looks wonderful and adds such great texture to your quilts.
ReplyDeleteI'm so in love with your Lollipop Flowers, Julierose! The design, colors and beautiful hand quilting! I'm so glad you are finishing this one and working on your other 'Littles'. They deserve to be out of the closet! Your bbq supper sounds delicious (I'm sure it was!).
ReplyDeleteEarly morning deck quilting sounds good to me! The yellow fabrics are yummy. Flamingo Ojo is so pretty. The flamingo fabric is a hoot. How exciting that you are nearing a finish for Lollipop Flowers. I have been working on my Pretty in Peach Butteflies today- hand quilting. Supper sounds delish! I am going to have to try making the fries. Have a fabulous evening. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to finish a bunch of 'littles', instant gratification.
ReplyDeleteLove those lollipop flowers. Sew cute!
ReplyDeleteI love the Pineapple Welcome---was it a pattern by??? Your other projects are so diverse and beautiful too, plus your beautiful handquilting. You very much have your own special ''look'' and artistic style. Enjoy all your small finishes on these lovely summer days.
ReplyDeleteI would say you're making great progress on your summer project mission. I think my favourite of these is the ojos but that could be because there's lots of blue in it.
