SUNDAY SELECTIONS

Side borders are sewn on Stone Soup
Now to decide on top and bottom; I was thinking of:

This lovely rich print...to pick up the purples....
and sort of anchor it all together...

**********************************************

My Snowballs are amassing...slowly but steadily....
I have 6 more blocks set up:
Here:
All ready to be trimmed and sewn into blocks...

I am running out of little corners..
but I think that rows of 4 wide by 6 long
will be big enough with borders ...we shall see...
👀
AND
speaking of "seeing":

I am told by my eye Doctor that I have eye issues that are going to be
resolved by some laser surgery in late March and early April--in office
and "not a big deal",
so they say....;0000

In the meantime, my vision has really taken a beating--
my eyesight is like looking
through a dirty car window right now..ugh..

so I am trying to limit my reading, sewing, postings, crosswords--
all the things I L O V E to do , etc etc
what a....................................
                                              BIG DRAG!!! ;((((

*******************************

A N D .........on a brighter note 👀
My Red Surprise amaryllis is throwing up an entirely new set of
shoots after its prodigious first blooming ;)))

Will there be a flower in there?

Anxiously awaiting while  coddling her along....
**************************************************

My posts may become more infrequent until my issue is taken care of...
be assured that I will be following your postings, a few at a time,
each day...

  2. Your Stone Soup quilt is so nice. The colors are harmonious and beautiful!
The snowball quilt is also very nice! Sad with the eyes, but so good that a laser surgery can fix it! Take care! :-)

  4. Prayers for your vision to improve. Your quilts are lovely. That purple print is so interesting and does such a good job of showing of the Soup circles' colors. And I love the Snowballs. One I saw when looking for your inspiration story online, had applique, will you be adding that at a future time?

  6. So sorry you have been struggling with your vision, it must be awful not to see properly. Guess you will just have to be patient till your appointment rolls around. I had laser treatment when I had a detached retina after cataract surgery and everything went well.

  7. All the best for your eye surgery!

Love the luscious purple fabric. Are they cherries or grapes? Or maybe plums? Gorgeous, anyway!

  8. I do hope you get everything resolved with your vision. My mom had to have laser treatment after her cataracts. It was quick and her vision was so much better. I love your projects but take care of you first!
