" VERTICALITY"
I am wondering what the new color will be for APRIL??? Aren't you all???
***********************************************
Here's where I stand with my Courthouse Steps Wonkified blocks...
I have 22 done in three rounds of light/dark...
No two are the same size--that should be a puzzle to get
them together--but that is for later;
I need to make some more hourglass blocks for more centers--
King Size beds take a LOT OF blocks...duh....;00000
I think I am crazee.....💃
***********************************
Is anyone else watching haircutting DIY videos???💇💇💇
In another week, Thom tells me that I will be cutting his hair...
What a brave soul he is--
the only hair cutting I've done is
trimming my own bangs...
my own hair is quite long--hmmmm
will I end up sitting on it by the time this is all over???
These are the burning questions flying through my brain ;000
[And did I say I want/need to know the color for April???huh? huh???]
Waving from here to wherever you may be ~ ~ ~ ~

I just love Posey! And your court house "wonkified" blocks too. I just ordered an older book about log cabins. I'm the only quilter in the world who doesn't think log cabins are simple.
ReplyDeleteI'm not only cutting my hair and my husband's (but he doesn't count because he's mostly bald), I'm thinking of coloring it myself. I figure if it turns out badly no one will know anyway - lol!
Your courthouse steps project is looking great too - and yes, you will need lots of blocks for a king size quilt. Better you, than me on that one! DH cut my hair so I'm sure you can manage. What is it that they say? That there's only a 2 week difference between a bad hair cut and a good one?
ReplyDeleteThere's so much beauty going on in those wonky courthouse steps blocks, I love them! King size you say, that is a huge undertaking.
ReplyDeleteI just left a comment but it seems to have disappeared. Let me know if it shows up eventually.
ReplyDeleteI am cutting our hair too. Mine just top to keep outta eyes. His short haircut. We are all in same boat. Glad i dont color anymore. Like your projects.hmmmm what color is next....
ReplyDeleteyou are so busy , must be spring fever ! The Ga. Pollen has ruined my energy
ReplyDeleteOh those courthouse steps blocks are going to make a nice quilt. King size? Sounds good to me :)
ReplyDeleteI'm cutting my bangs and may be cutting my husband's hair. But will just let the back grow for a while.
ReplyDeleteYour courthouse steps look great. This is the time for a big project.
So much prettiness from your quilting room. I too am excited to see the April color and I am not even taking part in the project, I just am so looking forward to what you will do.
ReplyDeleteLike you, I only cut my bangs usually, though I chop off excess if my ponytail is too long. I think cutting a man's hair might be hard. Tel your DH you think long hair on men is sexy!

Your projects are great! My hair is one length so I can let it get a little longer. My color is okay for now. The earliest stuff will open is May, if we're lucky.
ReplyDeleteI think "Vertically" is very attractive and like the lavender accent.
ReplyDeleteI'm letting my hair grow....not my choice....and with naturally curly it just does what it wants to so hard telling what I'll look like by the time I can get it cut.
You've been making good use of your time being confined to home, three beautiful projects but I confess I love VERTICALITY! Good luck playing hairdresser!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Courthouse Step blocks have my attention. I like them very much.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you are having lots of fun with your scrappy sewing. I was lucky to happen to get my teeth cleaned, hair cut and the dog immunized the week before all this craziness started, so DIY haircuts for me--lol! Stay safe!
