  9. Very fun Drummer day 12. \Dawn gave us all a great run up to Christmas.

    Your amaryllis is lovely. However you may want to put it, not repot, just a cache pot, much wider and weightier. Mine fell over from being tall and top heavy a few years ago. It fell off the counter tot he floor and broke. Now I put heavy potato sized rocks around the soil for counter balance.

    If a tall am does break, cut it cleanly and put in water in a vase. They do well as cut flowers. The bulb, if fed and nurtured, will rebloom too.
