in our tv room
reading this

of stories by Agatha Christie

Obviously,
no sewing going on at all..
S I G H...
but here are a couple of
photos of quilts I would
like to make
in 2022....
↕↕↕
This first one uses
"Indian Hatchett"
blocks...
I just love this medallion setting...
[mais, certainment]
I would make this a scrappy
piece with just one
hatchett color...
AND
this one has been on my
{mental} list for a
while
↡↡↡
In this Rail Fence setting...
This one I would make
(as above)
totally "Scrap-a-roo"
:)))
And finally,
yesterday's surfing brought me to
this big hexagon..
πππ
I just love the colorway
repititions
it looks like
one huge flower...

My "JOY" banner
is up above Helga
on my design wall
waiting for me to be able to
pick out backing, do
layering, pin baste and
hand quilt it....
π΅
I am looking π
forward to hand quilting
after the holidays....
hoping that my sciatica
will continue to
disappear and allow me to
sew, sew sew
πππ
I hope your Weekend is going
well, I would ask that you
say prayers or send good
thoughts to my friend,
and her DH
during this difficult time for them...
π₯
thanks so much...
my heart aches for them

Oh no! Sorry to hear you are both down with a stomach bug. Sending prayers for you both and your dear friend and her family.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your bug! I hope you feel better soon, and your husband, too. Take good care.
ReplyDeleteYour JOY banner is delightful.
People seem to be getting so sick after a year of being secluded from each other. I sure hope you get well soon and you get to make some of those lovely quilts.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness - so sorry the bug has struck...and hopefully it will leave sooner rather than later. I wonder, with people out and about more this year, if the flu bug will be particularly bothersome.
ReplyDeleteIt's always good to have something to look forward to The scrappy rail fence would be a good ongoing project as you cut up scraps from different projects.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling well soon.
Fun ideas and JOY looks great. Sorry you are ill, something you guys ate?
ReplyDeleteI do not know Dawn but send her and her family prayers and good wishes.
I hope you are getting well rested and feeling better, and also your husband and your friend Dawn and her family.
