My design wall has the two projects
I am working on with the exact same fabrics...
I find it amazing how different
they look ;)))
On the left is another Ojos group
that will be 5 blocks by 4 blocks--
a small table topper...
and Almost completed is
Criss-Cross next to them
on the right...

I am happy to say that our tank set up for our new
propane generator has been approved today
by the Town building inspector...
Now to have it hooked up and
the tanks filled...
:)))))
[Note: this has been in the works
since August...it seems to take
so long these days to get workers
on site to install anything!!]
Tonight's dinner will be my
meatloaf and boiled
potatoes with a side
salad...
A simple hearty meal
for this cold
day...

Oh, that's fun!...Two different string quilts with the same fabrics in the strings.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see your journal pages it makes me want to do some crazy quilting and embroidery stuff again but then I never want to go dig out all my supplies. One of these days...
For dinner I'm having homemade minestrone with most of the ingredients home grown from the dried beans to the zucchini to the tomatoes and onions. And homemade bread to go with.
Yes, forever to get workers as well as supplies. Took us almost a year to replace our deck, but well worth the wait. Meatloaf for us tonight, as well.

ReplyDeleteThe snow blog is darling, at the first sight I was thinking it was a lovely basket with those cute birds. It is Lovely, Julierose!! Yesterday we had home made mini pizzas for dinner.
(one) How much fun to make two different quilts using the same set of scraps! That's something that would make for a good challenge quilt topic. (two) I cannot tell you how much I am loving your snow globe page (and all of your journal pages for that matter). (three) Excited to see how you are going to use the large wood spool.

I thought your snow globe was a treasure when I saw your last post, you've created a stunning page with the addition of all the lace and stitching.
