NEW SKEINS and GOOD NEWS

More Geese
have joined
the flock....

And some stragglers
came on board, too...

I tried setting some flying
east-west, but
I didn't like the effect...

Looks like they all want to
fly one direction
so far.

I have quite a few more to make
Three groups are set up for tomorrow...

{Can you hear them honking ?
Cheering their fellow flyers onward.}

I am so low (almost out)
of light colors
(both prints and solids)
for the centers
of my geese;
so I've sent for a few more
fabrics today...
They are pastel type solids..

I have only a small pieces of light blue
and an almost- pink.
😞😥😧
How did I get this low?

I do have some WOW's;
but am saving them for another
project next year...

I guess I have to do some more
shopping --
[gosh darnit! ]
:)))

Most of my fabrics
are darker
colors...

I am happy to report that my husband's
Covid Test came back
Negative...

P H E W !!

We're thinking
it must have been a
bonchial infection.

At any rate, he is feeling
a lot better
today..

STRAGGLERS, et al

THESE ARE THE
GOOSEY STRAGGLERS

[they will be "fit in" after
I make the last four sets...]

 I seem to have
made more scraps
 all in the form of
↡↡↡↡
Little cut off
TRIANGLES
{I see another project ahead}

AND
A few more have
joined my flock

I have four more sets to sew
and then I will see how these will
all go together.....
("Flying by the seat of my pants" )
hahaha

******************************
I hope you are all well
staying healthy and safe
😷
FYI:
We are in quarantine here
as my husband (who has
been sick for over a week
with sore chest, congestion
and a hacking cough)
was tested for Covid on Monday...

He doesn't seem to be worsening,
but we are keeping a close watch...

MY FLOCK IS GROWING

Geese are flocking on my design wall.

I have been working on these for a week now...
and they are beginning to mount up...
I want to begin adding other fabrics as
this layer cake is all used up...
Picking fabrics from other lines
is always difficult for me...
{See me messing up my
stacks of fabrics searching
for ones that will go}
👵👀👀👀

AND

I have a few more set up here
↧↧↧↧
I will be working on these today...

and my collection
of butterflies
is growing

[sorry for the dark picture]
AND....

My son Jeffrey sent a picture of his
decorated tree
Isn't this beautiful???

Kinda makes your heart sing...💖👯

AND
See that tree skirt?

I made that for them...
One of my favorite projects...;)))

Hugs from SE CT on this early Sunday morning..

Stay safe and wear your masks, ladies
😷
it's still out there...

DID MY PHOTOS FLY AWAY WITH THE GEESE???

Here are the latest Flying Geese

I am using the rest of the layer cake that I "bit into"

                                                    for Starry-Eyed Jack...;)))

These are the only two photos that would
print from my phone...it seems that
I have to add the camera shots to the album
in order to have them print on my blog
                                                                   S  I  G  H
                                                  *************************************

Pouring rain here; expecting it to turn to snow as outside temps drop off a
cliff--temps began at 45 this morning and now it is 39 degrees...
down down down we go...
At least not like my son Jeff's in MASS--14" of snow expected...who--eee
I guess Winter is here...

AND BLOGGER WILL NOT LET ME PARAGRAPH AND SPACE AS I WANT TO...
                                                           S   I   G   H
                                                           ðŸ‘€ðŸ‘¹ðŸ˜’😷

******************************************************************************************
Tonight we will be having my Chicken and rice casserole that I put together
this morning...fingers crossed that the power doesn't go down, as the wind is
beginning to really ramp up....

WE NEED A LITTLE CHRISTMAS

My very first wall quilt...
I put this up for Christmas every year

A little table topper I made
last year
Love those little Santas...
My Christmas postage
lap quilt

My favorite Japanese Christmas
print...I couldn't cut it apart--
it hangs on my Grand-mere's
marbletop chest
that sits in my front entryway...

*************************
I turned off my computer for an hour;
then I couldn't sleep,
as the fact that I couldn't
add photos really bugged me...

I have no idea what I did..
or turning off the computer did...???

but they are uploading
fine now....
Perhaps now I will be able
to get some sleep;000

[thanks to all of you who commented
offering help...]
*************************
We definitely need:
"A Little Christmas Right Now" ;)))

Hugs from far away
Stay safe as cases
are soaring

MY LITTLE TREE, ET AL

Here is my little tabletop tree ...

The other night we looked out of our  window and
saw :

Full Moon
So lovely
So mysterious and haunting...

Here is my little  tree in the dark
of night
It has those glowing lights that
alternate colors...
💑💓

************************
I have been working on my next butterfly
after mailing off the two Butterfly
American Girl Dolly quilts to
my grandaughters today...

I love the outline shape of this one...
so lacey and delicate...

I am finding this embroidery very
relaxing...
I am happy that I have 3 more left
to finish up as these pre-stamped
cross stitch embroideries are
hard to find.
Mostly I see "counted cross stitch" which
is not my forte...

***************************
Today was Post Office day and I
mailed out my packages and bought
Christmas stamps for my cards...

Our last grocery trip on Tuesday
was a bust-- as after our big rain/wind storm,
the store had power outages and
as a result

NO:
fresh veggies or
Meats
or Deli
or Dairy!!

So, back I will go on Friday
(OH JOY!!)
hoping that they
will have re-stocked by then...

****************************
I hope you are staying well,
Hugs from far away,

and trying to keep
my spirits up-euse)
