Here is my little tabletop tree ...
The other night we looked out of our window and
saw :
Full Moon
So lovely
So mysterious and haunting...
Here is my little tree in the dark
of night
It has those glowing lights that
alternate colors...

I have been working on my next butterfly
after mailing off the two Butterfly
American Girl Dolly quilts to
my grandaughters today...
so lacey and delicate...
I am finding this embroidery very
relaxing...
I am happy that I have 3 more left
to finish up as these pre-stamped
cross stitch embroideries are
hard to find.
Mostly I see "counted cross stitch" which
is not my forte...

Today was Post Office day and I
mailed out my packages and bought
Christmas stamps for my cards...
Our last grocery trip on Tuesday
was a bust-- as after our big rain/wind storm,
the store had power outages and
as a result
NO:
fresh veggies or
Meats
or Deli
or Dairy!!
So, back I will go on Friday
(OH JOY!!)
hoping that they
will have re-stocked by then...

I hope you are staying well,
Hugs from far away,

(prepping for Christmas
and trying to keep
my spirits up-euse)

The glow of Christmas tree lights is so special!
ReplyDeletelove your tree! we are going to the grocery store tomorrow before rain come in
ReplyDeleteYour little tree is sweet. Hope the groceries have been re-stocked for you by Friday, and that you can find enough stuff in your cupboards to eat in the mean time!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute, well decorated tree and beautiful when the lights are all lit up.I stayed up the night of the full moon, it was almost dark but then the soft glow over in the east and then shortly up came the moon - why are billions being spent trying to get up there I wonder, seems a sort of sacrilege to me plus surely the money could be spent on the world problems, of which we have many!
ReplyDeleteYour little tree is just right! I'd like one of those too. So sorry about the need to make another grocery run - bad enough to have to go once.
ReplyDeleteI have a little tree like that one on my dining room table! Just right! Another pretty butterfly! I love those blocks!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you have to make a return trip to the store but I'm really sorry for the store to loose so much. This butterfly is lovely and lacey, like you say. A cute little tree. There's nothing better than Christmas lights!
ReplyDeleteYour tree is lovely! I hate going to the grocery store and would hate to have to go twice in one week. I was expecting our power to go out Monday but was pleasantly surprised!
ReplyDeleteI like your tabletop tree. I have thought about getting one and just never go do it. I just run my Christmas lights along the bookshelves for a little cheer.
ReplyDeleteI love your tree! And wasn't the moon so magical this month.

Your tree and photographs are so lovely! Glad you got your butterflies mailed! Stay safe!
ReplyDeletecute tree - sorry to hear about your outages we didn't have any here.
ReplyDeleteYour tree is lovely, Julierose! Christmas decorations do lift the spirits, don't they? Where do you find your preprinted cross stitch designs? They do look like they would be very enjoyable to stitch!
ReplyDeleteLove your little tree - there's something so warm and wonderful about Christmas lights!
