Four patches...
The Curious Quilter's postage stamp swap of a few years ago...
Somehow, someone who was supposed to send 50 different squares ended up
sending me all turquoise ones...

I have been away from my sewing since I came down with some sort of virus that has
kept me under the weather...as a matter of act, on Thanksgiving, I was really
not feeling well...but with all my helpers we managed to put on a wonderful meal
and have fun, too...;)))))
piece very flat....
and these will be all scrappy as they do not match in any way....
SO.........................
where am I going with this, you ask???
Frankly, I have no idea...
I am just trying to get my sewing "mojo" back...
I had a little "talk" with myself and said "Just get in there and sew...."

I say keep looking in those drawers I'm sure you will find your mojo. I lost mine awhile back and as hard as I tried, I couldn't get it back. All of a sudden, a lovely little piece of fabric spoke to me and I was back, full steam ahead. I wish you the same. ;^)
ReplyDeleteNothing like some simple four or ninepatch blocks to get us going again. These will be pretty with the various florals paored with the blue squares.
ReplyDeleteROFL swaps of any kind are such a toss up. I like the blue though. Hope you start to feel better soon, you have been puny for a while.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling good enough to sew. My mojo is waning a little as well. . . maybe it is because I know most of my current time is going to be spent decorating for Christmas. Curious to see what you come up with all those turquoise 4-patches.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll think of something to make with those nice little squares. They look great all sewn together. I hope your virus is going away. There are all sorts of bugs out there right now. I alcohol my computer station at work. I'm hoping that keeps me from getting sick.

Four patches, along with their cousins, the nine patches, are lovely little blocks. I know I have some of each tucked away somewhere. Perhaps my blocks will want to come out to play too.
ReplyDeleteWhen I lose my sewing mojo, I deep clean the studio. That has always helped me find my way back to the sewing machine. Glad you're feeling some better!
