I have quilted 35
Geese by hand so far...
Sitting at my
dining room table
With tea to hand...
;)))
The lighting is really good;
and
I can rest my arms
on the table;
which
seems to work well.
I can manage to quilt 5 per day
without any ill effects.

Tonight's dinner menu includes:
Meat loaf, boiled potatoes,
green beans and
gravy....

It has been a sunny, but windy and cold,
day here...
I hope you are all staying
safe and wearing your masks

COVID is STILL HERE💀

Hand-quilting geese sounds like a good calming activity to me.
ReplyDeleteWhere did that first comment go? It's a good idea to pace yourself and look after your hands.
ReplyDeleteYour hand quilting of the geese is a delight to see, you're going to have a beautiful finish with this. Hope you enjoyed your dinner and I shall be watching more TV today!!!!
ReplyDeleteCold here - heavy gray skies with rain all day that is currently changing to snowflakes (wet, icy ones). Yes - we are wearing our masks when we go out (which is not often). Your geese look great!
ReplyDeleteThe Geese are beautiful. Dinner sounds so good! It was a chiller today, the sun fooled me and the wind blew cold thru my layers. Be safe!

I found the same thing, I was comfortable big stitch quilting at the table although several years ago I was doing it sitting on the sofa. I’m not sure why I found it easier the last few months at the table.
ReplyDeleteYour hand quilting is so, so pretty!!!!

ReplyDeletePacing yourself with your stitching is a good thing. Sometimes hard to stick to that plan though!
ReplyDeleteI just love these Geese! Sounds like you have the right plan for hand quilting - stay calm and keep stitching?
