I've just finished stitching the center Ojos
this afternoon....
***********************************************
And:
L👀👀k what has arrived
at our Big Y:
We had them for breakfast this morning
[pronounced "push-key"];)))
They bring back memories of my
Polish Aunt Sadie who
made them for us every year
before Lenten Season...
Our favorite flavor is
Bavarian Cream...
***************************
Candice brought me a lovely
Christmas bouquet--and
these are still in pretty
good shape:
just beautiful...?
********************************
We've just finished watching the final
Episode of
"The Crown"
and so,
I've begun reading this:
And finding it quite fascinating....
A totally different point of view
on the Royals....
***************************
I must take out my Bramble central block
now that Audrey's next
prompt has come out.
I need to begin
to think about Borders, colors, and
1/4 sq triangle block corners....
I have kind of lost my way on this after
such a long break....
So I will be pulling out
my fabric stack
and seeing:
"Now, what was I thinking?"

Just finished reading "Telling Lies" by Ann Cleeves and
ReplyDeletethoroughly enjoyed this Vera Stanhope mystery...
The Ojos quilting is so pretty. I think the picture would make a lovely card or picture on the wall. I've got the wheels spinning on the next prompt for Bramble Blossoms. I think I work better from a pattern unless is just a repeated block.
ReplyDeleteYour hand stitching looks great!
ReplyDeleteOnce a year treats are pretty special. I'm glad you were able to nab some.
I just saw the last post from Audrey - I've been "missing in action" with various family matters so much now get back into the swing! I'm looking forward to seen your border designs!
ReplyDeleteYour Ojos looks so pretty - I love the hand stitching you've done.
ReplyDeleteRead 'Spare' and found it interesting to read about the royals from the standpoint of Harry.
ReplyDeleteWow, I went and read part of the directions for the next section of Bramble Bloom. I wasn't even tempted to join, as neither improv or applique is my thing. And I'm very glad I didn't. I'll stick with my simple blocks and RSC. Good luck with your plan.
Pat
I can’t wait to see what you add to that sweet basket of Bramble blooms. Hope you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteI love how ojos is looking! So pretty. I admit I have never watched the crown.
ReplyDeleteLOL-- Feedly asked, "Is this post about entertainement?" To quiltmakers, yes. Your hand stitched project looks good. We enjoyed the Crown. I found the ending where the previous Elizabeths 'appeared' very poignant. Funny how we associate paczki (and hot cross buns) with Ash Wednesday but of course they can be eaten at any time. In the Chicago area it's pronounced "poonch-ki."
