this afternoon....

now that Audrey's next
prompt has come out.
I need to begin
to think about Borders, colors, and
1/4 sq triangle block corners....
I have kind of lost my way on this after
such a long break....
So I will be pulling out
my fabric stack
and seeing:

The Ojos quilting is so pretty. I think the picture would make a lovely card or picture on the wall. I've got the wheels spinning on the next prompt for Bramble Blossoms. I think I work better from a pattern unless is just a repeated block.

ReplyDeleteWow, I went and read part of the directions for the next section of Bramble Bloom. I wasn't even tempted to join, as neither improv or applique is my thing. And I'm very glad I didn't. I'll stick with my simple blocks and RSC. Good luck with your plan.

ReplyDeleteLOL-- Feedly asked, "Is this post about entertainement?" To quiltmakers, yes. Your hand stitched project looks good. We enjoyed the Crown. I found the ending where the previous Elizabeths 'appeared' very poignant. Funny how we associate paczki (and hot cross buns) with Ash Wednesday but of course they can be eaten at any time. In the Chicago area it's pronounced "poonch-ki."
