Jelly Roll Jive is all quilted--
I like how the straight line quilting came out...
AND
All trimmed up and ready to be bound...
;))))
****************************
Next in line is this Jelly Roll
It will be interesting to see how an
all-print jelly roll looks in this pattern...
I need to find another fabric to insert as
a panel...so when i open this up
tomorrow i will be looking through the
Stash to see what I have on hand...
I used my lint catcher roller on both sides
to try to get rid of those pesky "bits"
when you open a roll...and hoping
that it got rid of most of that
"fluff" that gets all over...
👍💃
*************************
I do still have the 2nd quilt from the all blues
jelly roll ready to be backed and pinned,
but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I thought I would take a rest from all
those blues...and move onto the
"Pips" roll....such cute fabrics in
this one...I am thinking it will be a
totally different vibe...

A gray and misty day here, temps in
the 40's; we are expecting
a cold front to come over us
overnight and plunge us back into
the 30's for a bit...

Looking for a really good "book--book" if you know
ReplyDeletewhat I mean you readers out there....
Your quilt looks great, I've never purchased a jelly roll myself.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt has turned out so nice. The unform quilting really makes it shine. Have fun with the "Pips".
ReplyDeleteI first read 'pips' as 'pigs' and laughed thinking what a great name (Sherbet Pigs).
ReplyDeleteI have a roll that is 1.5 inches and I haven't known what to do with it - I should sew some together for placemats
ReplyDeleteThe straight line quilting looks great.
ReplyDeleteI think the all print JR will make a nice quilt with that pattern.
The cold front got here, 31 this morning and 46 for a high today and tomorrow.
Oh, isn't that pretty?! Your quilting looks great, Julierose. It will be fun see what the next jelly roll looks like. I never thought to use the lint roller on the edges of the jelly roll like - what a good idea. All that lint drives me crazy!
ReplyDeleteYou really are on a roll, aren't you? We got down to 20 degrees last night and it has snowed off and all day, yet right now the sun is shining brightly. I'm so over winter. The daffodils are ready to pop out if we could just get a couple of warmer days in a row.

Oh boy, that is lovely. It will be fun to see it in the next jelly roll. Love seeing patterns done in different colors.
ReplyDeleteTemperatures are up and down here too. I have to check the thermometer before deciding what jacket to wear! Great jelly roll quilt! The lint is a pain!
ReplyDeleteSherbert Pips!!!! I LOVE those prints. I can't wait. I'll be right here staying tuned.
ReplyDeleteI really like how your straight line quilting came out on Jelly Roll Jive. Beautifully done!
Jive One is great, beautifully straight quilting. And the new jelly roll is adorable, it will be such a cute quilt!
ReplyDeleteHope all is well--the sun is out but cold cold cold.
Great finish! Your quilting looks wonderful on this quilt. Looking forward to your next one!
ReplyDeleteLove the quilting on your Jelly Roll Jive quilt. The colors, as far as I can tell, look nice in Sherbert Pips. These fabrics should be fun to work with.
