#HILLSIDE HEART PROMPTS WEEK 8, et al

This 8th week's prompts from
Caroline on the Hillside on YT
were:
"Soar" and "Sparkle"

I made a little fold over tuck spot to hold
my weekly heart--here it is closed...
and above it is opened out...

The orange bird represents
"soaring"
and
the necklace and lady's hair net
represent the
"sparkle" prompt
by using
some of my  old stickles...
Also, the bit of music score
on the left has
some sparkle spray on it...

I still have a  few of those
 leftover from my
scrapbooking days...

The images are cut
from magazines
I've stored for
my
Junque Journaling.

***********************
The weather here today, so far,
is just gray and chilly--our temp
just went up to 33,,,,

I am making us chicken noodle soup
for our dinner tonight
which I find is so good
when you are
a "bit under the weather".

*********************************
I am measuring my JRJ strips and
making sure they are @ 42" each...
before i begin sewing them together...
Just two strips a day (13 in total)--
so this will take a while--
But then......
I am in no hurry...

I really hope the predicted
rain/sleet/snow mix misses us!!

Hugs on a quiet Tuesday

  3. I love the use of imagery in your book. There is so much meaning to your chosen images. It's already snowing here. I hope it turns to rain soon and it all goes away!

  4. I hope you feel so much better and soon, Julierose. I saw the "sparkle" on your page right away. You have a good plan for sewing the jelly roll strips. I hope all the measurements are correct.
