MOM, ME & FI & WILLA
A while back..
I can't believe it's been over a month now...there is no "getting used to"
this.....
But, here is Fiona at the beach having a "warm up"...this day helped me a lot.
And what do i see under there....??? ;--))))
My grandchildren are sustaining me.....Mom loved them dearly, too.
I am moving along with Fi's quilt, on the second side border now...this helps too....
Hugs to all, (still in resting mode)

it takes time - it is 9 months since my mom died and I think of her often but it is not so sad now - although I still go to pick up the phone to give her a call as I didn't live real near but I called her several times a week and she so enjoyed that - and I learn now those calls meant more to me than I realized.
ReplyDeleteOh my, Julierose, my heart aches for you. My mom passed 8 1/2 years ago, and I'm still trying to get used to it. Time, family and my passions (quilting) have helped, but I still miss her.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are enjoying the happy moments with your grandchildren . . . wonderful photos. Sending hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteAwe sweetie it takes time.... What cuties to be with though.
ReplyDeleteIt will take time Julie but I pray for your comfort and peace, my friend.
ReplyDeleteGrandkids do not know the power they have over us grannies. They are a healing force. Glad they are helping you.
ReplyDeleteIt helps to realize that you know an angel... it helps me.
Hugs
It's got to be so hard but that little darling put a smile on MY face so I can only imagine how she's helping you :)
ReplyDeletemaybe the rain that just left us is heading your way, we are hoping fopr a little dry now. Yes it's GAYG and a pain. but i want to finish it this week if i can. This is the only way i can answer your comments on my blog , still not posting to email

ReplyDeletegreat pic of you and mom. nothing can fill the void. just hold dear to the memories and know that she is still with you only in a different way. hugs sweetie
ReplyDeleteyour mother was very pretty
ReplyDeleteLovely photo of you and your Mom - enjoy your grandchildren and take plenty of rest!
ReplyDeleteLa photo où tu es avec ta maman est très belle ! Merci de nous la présenter ainsi..... Gros bisous Julie et bon courage ......
ReplyDeleteLosing your Mom is something I don’t think you ever really get over. You just move on and grandchildren sure do help with the process.
ReplyDeleteYou never get used to losing your Mom. My Mom has been gone for almost 19 years, and just today I realized I was using something in my kitchen that belonged to her, and I choked up. The grandchildren do help and remind us that life moves on. Take good care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteI think being with your grandchildren is the best thing you can do. It may take awhile but those beautiful grandkids will be very healing.
