Julierose, La Blageuse (let 'em eat oranges-euse)

I love orange in quilts, may have to grab that scrap bin next even though I'm not doing the challenge. Oatmeal with blueberries frozen from last summer's harvest is one of my favorite breakfasts too, right behind spinach-feta-tomato omelets, lol!
ReplyDeleteHi Julierose! What a fun memory of your mom and dad enjoying time together. That brings a smile to my face. Love all the orange - I adore orange so I would be happy to work with it early as well. Happy Thursday to you. ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDelete31 weeks of likes! You have done well and it's so fun to see everything. I do love that Improv Circle and I love orange so your Feb should be fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteSend in the cops - too funny.
ReplyDeletegreat likes, I do unsweetened cheerios with blue berries for breakfast
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the memory too. Love the improv circle - orange is such a happy color and an improv circle is a great way to showcase them.
ReplyDeleteLooking at your orange wedges I feel warmer already. I'm smiling :)
ReplyDeleteI like orange, so will enjoy watching your adventures in February. That vase or lamp base in the first picture looks rather lovely, too.
ReplyDeleteAll the oranges are so bright and cheerful in the gray winter! And I love oatmeal, I've been making it for breakfast in the morning with a big cup of blueberries, they're juicy and sweet and tart at the same time. Yum!
ReplyDeleteGreat likes. I like when I have been messing with an avocado, it feels so good and your hands feel so soft. The improv circle is lovely. Wow you are just whizzing right along there.
ReplyDeleteThis is funny - I like to use olive oil on my skin. Love oatmeal. And I use the Kuerig. A lot in common. Love orange too.
ReplyDeleteOoh- good hand cream is a must in the winter. I like Bob's Red Mills stuff. I tried making rope like that but wasn't happy with the result. I'll be curious how yours turns out. The oranges are so cheery!
ReplyDeleteI'm not an orange person either, but your oranges look very pretty! What do you do with the fabric rope? I love my Keurig! So convenient!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading about your likes this week, Julierose! I admit - I sewed with orange this week, too, so you are not alone! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised you've started early with the orange - it seems lovely and cheerful for this time of year. Your improv circle looks great - what a good way to use those curves up.

ReplyDeleteYou have a whole lot of likes here Julierose! The design on the lid of the Olive oil infused body cream is so lifelike! You're starting the day well with your breakfast goodies and such a cheery orange block.
ReplyDeleteReading your Likes posts are a lovely antidote to the news, that's for sure. I had oatmeal and coffee from our Keurig this morning too - tasty stuff!
ReplyDeleteI have to pull out my oatmeal, yours looks divine! Love your orange blocks, going to be a wonderful piece! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful post. Send in the cops.....haha. That black vase is beautiful. Olive oil cream? I remember hearing people in Italy and Greece use it on their skin. Makes sense to me.
ReplyDeleteI am joining you from LeeAnna's linky party this week! Your post is such a wonderful collection of your likes - like spending a day with you! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
ReplyDeleteI am so behind on reading these posts (sorry)! We have a bakery here that served steel cut oats with pecans, raisins, honey and a dollop of devonshire cream. Oh my goodness, it is heavenly! I make up excuses to go there for breakfast :-) Love those orange blocks!
