I LIKE NO 28

                                          I like our weather station...
I enjoy keeping track of sunrise/sunset and
                                           moon phases, wind and rain--

Basically I am a "weather geek"  ;))) I know a lot of you do
the temperature quilts--I have a hard time deciding on "colors"
for temp ranges...I don't think that way...I tried doing one, but  I
have found that I don't like doing a "daily" block.  Instead for
a daily project....................................↴↴↴

I like keeping track of "what I have done" in my Franklin....
I have handmade journals also, but this one suits my needs the best...

I have been keeping

journals of some sort

as long as I can

remember  ...

[I am in no way affiliated with Franklin Covey]

I like the
split page...upper for any appointments  with hourly segments and lower for

diary/journaling thoughts for the day....the red pen on the right was a
Christmas gift from my hubby many years ago--and I use real
ink refill cartridges...
Here's an example of a page from last Sunday...↴↴↴
I am drawing the moon phase every day...
Do any of you keep journals?                                                  **********************************************
Come join us for our posts on Lee Anna's blog Not Afraid of Color where we
list our "likes" for each week...

  1. I am not a journaller. I have been attempting Bible Journaling which is reading, and doing a deep dive into a Bible verse daily. I am failing miserably though. Love your weather station.

  2. Well for me I have kept a grateful journal - five things a day I am thankful to God for - for about 25 years now.
I also have a book where I write Bible quotes and others in.
I am not one to write my feelings down - I would hate to have someone find them if I die! lol

  3. Nice weather station. We had one but it does not last well down here for some reason. I love the idea of journaling... I just never seem to stick to it.

  4. My blog is about as close to a journal as I get, with the exception of starting to write 3 pages each morning in a notebook. Most of that is just rambling; not meant to be a journal for others to read.

  5. The temperature blankets (either knitted or crocheted) are intriguing but I doubt it would hold my attention for an entire year so I haven't opted in (yet!). As for journals - I have kept a diary/journal since 1967 - most of it is complete drivel but I carry on anyway because it's such an ingrained habit.

  6. I just started using a planned this year and I love it! I feel so much more organized. I wish I had started using one earlier! The weather station is so full of info. Love it!

  7. My daughter has been using her Franklin Covey for many years. With her busy lifestyle/work/special- needs son, it has been such a Godsend.

  8. Like all your greens in the last post, Julierose. I keep all kinds of journals/notebooks on the go. Love them too. And I too enjoy weather facts and check stations a couple times a day though I don't have a fancy one like yours. Lol

  9. Hi Julierose! OH, the Franklin. I love, love, loved my Franklin. The nice paper, the stickers, just the planner itself. Nothing has been as nice since I last used one. AND, I adore your weather station. I am a secret weather nerd, too. I love watching the barometric pressure change, the lunar cycle, the lengthening daylight hours, etc. I love your likes this week!! ~smile~ Roseanne

  10. I've kept a nature journal for many years, just record unusual weather events, birds, tides etc. Not daily. The journal has months but not days or years so I go round again til filled, about ten years each [M Bastin Nature Journal]. The last daily personal journal I managed was the one I kept for the Quilty 365 project. My life isn t that interesting otherwise, lol.

    1. I forgot to say I suppose my blog is truly a journal. My favorite form of journaling was an ongoing journal sent back and forth between me and my mom, we did it for years, such treasures now she is gone. Not sure a ''planner" quite equates with a journal?

  11. We have a weather station like yours at our house, too - we are always stopping to look at and see what the temp or wind speed is. Your daily journal/calendar looks so handy! I don't keep one like that, but always admire those who do.

  12. Your weather station is similar to ours, although i don't remember ours ever telling us there would be a lunar eclipse. That's great!

  13. I’m not a block-a-day person either. You moon phases are charming; you can draw a perfect circle, too. I’m envious of that talent.

  14. I love that you keep track of the weather in your journal! Love the moon phases and is that some kind of special weather radio?
