Such fun projects! I hope you didn't get much snow this morning. Today was a good day to stay in and sew!!
ReplyDeleteI love all the yummy colors. That mens tie design is really nice, though nobody around here wears ties anymore. I'd have to scrounge them from my SIL and he still needs them for his job. Then too, I already have more strips and scraps than I'll ever use in my lifetime!
ReplyDeleteHi Julierose! I love your post, with your little arrows leading our way through all the fun photos. And the end tie project is SO COOL! I love the ends of the ties forming the border. ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteI've made one Jelly Roll Race and it was fun to see it develop from the strips into the quilt! That is also a neat idea for the ties!
ReplyDeleteI love those pink fabrics. How fun!
ReplyDeleteLove your jelly roll project. Fun fun
ReplyDeleteThe jelly roll fabrics are pretty. Love that tie quilt.
ReplyDeleteIt is always fun to do some fast sewing that you don't need to think about too much.
ReplyDeleteFun projects. Love the race huh?
ReplyDeletewhat a great tie quilt. Love how it looks woven.
ReplyDeletelove those luscious pink and peachy colors and sometimes its fun to just sew sew sew.
i still haven't done a race. The tie quilt is way cool.
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued by that tie quilt too, but I don't suppose I will ever make one. My DH hasn't worn a tie in years and I think he only still has one in his closet just in case.
ReplyDeleteLove jelly roll projects! Neat tie quilt, like the different patterns and how they come together. It's quite cool! Have a wonderful day!
